I really don't know what I was expecting. The XL should be big enough for my hedgehog even if he is big. They said it was felt lined but there are so many extra pieces of fabric sticking out of the seams because they didn't actually line them, they just sewed them together and it looks like crap on the inside. I checked everything to make sure there are no threads sticking out and this will fit. Plastic grids aside, I'm sure I could do better myself and don't have much sewing experience. The other day I was thinking about sewing in some fabric to actually line the bag. It also won't hold its shape and sag on its own because that's how it was sewn. I've washed and reshaped it, blown it all up and laid it out to dry and it seems to be holding up for a while.
