Review on Powerful Germ Guardian True HEPA Air Purifier: Ultimate Protection from Germs, Allergens, and Odors by Kelly Noonan

Bought in December 2016 because my son has allergies. This unit did an excellent job of picking up dust etc on a low setting. Bought a second unit for a guest room based on the specifications of the original unit. Then this morning I noticed a distinct smell in my son's room and after sticking my nose in the cleaner I figured it was his fault. Going back to the reviews I found some burned boards and decided to disassemble mine. Here it is. See fig. Very good filtering overall but I hope you have good home insurance. Both GermGuardian cleaners will be on the curb by the next garbage day.
