paper weight. best energy controllers

A lot of strange behavior on this device. The biggest problem is that it doesn't transmit the full potential of the sun. The charging algorithm starts reducing the current too early before it reaches the peak value. Comes out by fully absorbing the charge. Sees a higher voltage on the controller than on the battery. Does not allow changing settings. Not at all worth the price paid. In my large jar this would not allow lead acid to get anything better than a flat surface charge of 14.5V for a short 2 minute period. Then lower to float where it still takes 10+ amps to hold 13.7V. Batteries will not charge at this voltage. Also, the 24v 500ah series does not balance properly and I have seen days where the volt difference between pairs was over a volt. The charge controller should now, under ideal conditions, see 20 amps at 38 volts from 800 watts of solar power and use it all. This won't happen, just add 0.1 current very carefully and wait for the battery voltage to rise to the set value. If it can then sink the same 0.1 amps/current and hold the voltage, it will stop absorbing charge. The big problem was that as the sun went down behind the cloud and came back, it began retesting every point of charge current on its way to full power. In bulk mode! It took 10 minutes to get back to the full bank exit. And, oh no, try to variably load the inverter so it can keep up with dynamic current regulation. Large changes in battery voltage. The photos show the charge controller display and a brilliant display on the negative terminal of the charge controller battery. Note the meager 0.5 amps it puts into the battery. And notice how generous the charge controller is in letting us know how it's doing. It helps with total daily amounts in production, it's such a bummer. There I conservatively gave it 43% efficiency. If you had to use this thing, you would lose 57% of your small customization potential. Overall, it would surely damage your battery. If you had to use it. I would spend 250โ‚ฌ for a night light. Because you can't turn off the screen! And if the screen burns out, you have no interface.
