I wanted to give the kitchen island more power, but we weren't digging more concrete. I made a good cable cover out of a piece of adapter left over from installing the floor and screwed it to the underside of the kitchen island. It's not perfect - it would be nice if there were more power - but it does its job perfectly and is completely unobtrusive. I've used it for several months to power my laptop, coffee maker and blender with no issues. The USB ports provide enough power to power the wireless charging stand, just as I had hoped. In fact, I couldn't be happier with this result. Seems to be a quality product at a good price.
