Activated carbon filter will not fit. The thread is not tightened enough and the fitting goes way down without being tightened, the water tape does not fix it. You can see the water running around the fitting, further tightening will cause it to bend. 08/25/18 - UPDATE This is the second time I have received an incompatible carbon filter with fittings that have some sort of problem. See the first picture showing the charcoal filter connection of the original system. The original iSpring system connects the inlet hose to a tee as the two hoses combine into one inlet to the carbon filter. In the second picture you can see that both ends of the carbon filter are pre-fitted with a clamp connector. Fitting to connect a real hose instead of the original T-fitting adapter. I've tried using racks but it's sealed in there. See two new photos
