This pillowcase is very soft and luxurious and looks like natural silk. It sleeps well, feels very cool, feels comfortable against the skin, and my hair glides over it, which minimizes breakage and tangling while I sleep. My standard pillowcase fits perfectly, snugly and securely. I like the low profile hidden zipper way more than the open pillowcase as it makes everything look neater. The number of mothers is not given. I find it to be significantly thinner than my 22 momme silk pillowcases and feels and looks softer, but it still holds up well and washes with no issues. I use Woolite on the gentle cycle and tumble dry on low or no heat - no fabric softener or dryer. Although this is a thinner silk pillowcase I give it five stars as it's still high quality and a good price.
