I'm 5'1" and about 150-155 pounds. I ordered a large size and they fit me perfectly. Nice and tight top but not restrictive. but a strong band made from the same materials as the rest of the pants. They have knuckle flares but that's what I wanted. They are NOT too long for me! (Hooray!) Shoes. The bag is small but good for carrying my small phone between jobs. The material is not see through but light enough that I think they would be ideal for working in the hot summer months. I haven't washed them yet. but nothing about the material or stitching makes me think this will be an issue. I will wash gently in cold water, line dry and then tumble dry low. I am now ordering another pair in granite.
