They are nice and light and the part that goes around my neck is thinner and lighter than my other noise canceling earphones. This more streamlined design is comfortable and practical, especially for my main use, which is my gym. The rainproof design is also perfect for use in the gym as my ears and neck get quite sweaty when I exercise. The design of the earbuds and attachments fits my ear canal perfectly. Of the various headphones I own, these seem to fit my ear canal the most securely. A snug fit is obviously important for both music and sound quality, as well as the added benefit of noise isolation. So far I've been impressed with how good the music sounds. With the good ear canal seal mentioned above, I have enough bass and my music sounds very good. I was also impressed by the noise cancellation. I have several different noise canceling headphones, all of which work at different power levels. It's important to remember that noise-cancelling headphones aren't designed to cancel out all ambient noise, but instead to effectively reduce it so you can hear the sound source better. The noise-cancelling technology doesn't work quite as well at reducing constantly changing noises like voices, but it generally does a good job at dealing with sustained noises like airplane engines or constant background noise. The noise cancellation here does a great job of reducing background noise in my gym and even better at reducing constant background noise like generic white jet engine noise. So far I've been very happy with them. There are many different noise-cancelling audio solutions, from headphones to headphones, all at different prices. High quality solutions typically cost hundreds of dollars, while budget solutions are available for less than $50. The current price of these headphones at $80 is a very fair offer at this price point. The combination of sound quality and noise cancellation makes them a great choice at this price point.
