Falling Out of Your Ears - Headphones

I review JVC Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, HAFX65BNB. I used them when I was running on the treadmill or just exercising. Pros: Sound quality is pretty good compared to similar models in this price range. You are unobtrusive. Noise cancellation is good on Airbus and Boeing aircraft and on a noisy treadmill. Cons: For some reason, they were difficult to pair initially. I tried it on three different devices with the same results. I've also found that you have to hold down the button for a…

Noise canceling function

I was very impressed with these headphones. First, they sound great. I have had very good results with both music and podcasts. Second, the noise reduction feature really works. Sometimes it can be a little spooky when it's on. The background noise just disappears. You only realize how much background noise there is in everyday life when it disappears. Third, they're pretty comfortable. I get tired of the ears from the headphones sometimes, but they don't bother me that much. I can leave her…

Awkward Controls: Headphones

TL;DR: Difficult seek controls to use due to one-button controls to toggle on/off, activate voice control, and seek forward/backward. I'm happy with the sound quality and I like that the left side is weighted so the panel on the right doesn't slip off when carried. If there's nothing on the other side, it's easier to slip it around your neck and pry the earbud out of your ear if the panel is slid down (if that makes sense?). It's easy to turn on and pair with my iPhone X, but the controls are a

Good sound quality and noise canceling

They are nice and light and the part that goes around my neck is thinner and lighter than my other noise canceling earphones. This more streamlined design is comfortable and practical, especially for my main use, which is my gym. The rainproof design is also perfect for use in the gym as my ears and neck get quite sweaty when I exercise. The design of the earbuds and attachments fits my ear canal perfectly. Of the various headphones I own, these seem to fit my ear canal the most securely. A…

Microphone issue

Living in a very noisy building in midtown Manhattan, I'm always interested in finding a pair of headphones with effective noise cancellation. I have a pair of full size Sennheiser headphones. They do the job but after a while they really warm my head, especially now that summer is approaching and I was curious if a collared model like these JVCs would be more comfortable and just as effective. Well, I'd say these JVC collar headphones are comfortable to wear, but their noise cancellation isn't
