This charger looks and acts essentially identical to the charger that came with my XPS 13. It has an indicator at the end that shows if it's plugged in, although it isn't. . exactly the same as on my factory charger. The cables are the same length as my factory charger; a brick of the same size and shape as the factory charger; The cable even has a little plastic notch to secure it when wrapping it around the brick. I bought this as a charger to leave on my desk at home just to plug in my laptop so can't comment on how good it is when traveling. Having only had this for a week I would say it was a good buy (especially considering how much cheaper it is than Dell's website). If anything changes I will update my review.
