I ordered a large black belt. I fell in love with the belt but found it a little tighter than I would have liked. When I then ordered light brown, I went down to size XL. When it arrived the outer box said XL but when I put it on it was exactly the same size as the black one. I looked at the tag on the belt itself and it was indeed large but in a pocket marked XL. The big one works so I decided to just keep it rather than mess with the exchange but I still think going up a size would be more convenient. Size issue aside, I LOVE these straps. They are very sweet. I get compliments from them all the time and they are quite forgiving with their rubber band.
