Review on 🛠️ IWISS Ratchet Wire Crimping Tool Kit with 5 Interchangeable Jaws, Wire Stripper and Cutter for Insulated and Non-Insulated Terminals 0.5-35mm ² in Oxford Bag Packaging by Wendell Chapman

First caveat - I only bought this to crimp bare terminals onto 18ga wire which I had to make several hundred of, so I can't get over connectors speak for its durability when crimping large cables. I previously purchased one of Revain's "Hundreds of Crimp Connectors With Free Crimp Tool" kits and found that the crimp tool was rubbish. Rather than rounding off the spade terminals on the cable, it simply snapped off the spades, often causing them to break or fail to grip the wire. Also, all of the connector/tool kits seem to offer the same $10 crimp tool, so stay away from them all. The crimp sets in this set are not as carefully finished on the outside as the others, but the internal profiles that actually make contact with the connectors are more detailed and work much better. After throwing away the other crimping tool, I was able to work almost twice as fast with this tool and with no lost/broken connectors. I've looked at more expensive crimping tools and find this Curve Elbow Set - it works well at a very reasonable price and to make it noticeably better you'll have to spend significantly more money. A highly recommended kit.
