The toe of the boots is turned upwards, like elven shoes. This caused the seam that attaches the fabric to the hard rubber outsole to buckle and dig into the toe of my son's foot, even with a larger boot. He is 9 years old and found these to be one of the most uncomfortable boots he has ever worn. My husband and I were very disappointed with how odd these boots looked because the toe was so high. Very disappointing!
