Review on Inflatable Serving Salad Drink Holder by Michael Hellewell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for outdoor parties on a hot day!

I threw an outdoor party on a 95 degree day in Tucson, Arizona. I served fruit salad, green salad, a vegetable tray, and sandwich tortillas. These trays were a lifesaver! They are quite large and can accommodate multiple serving bowls, plates or platters. I inflated the trays, placed them on 6ft tables and left room at the end of the table for other food and service items. Once inflated, I filled each tray with a layer of ice and placed the plates/bowls directly on the ice. It worked like a charm! Fruit, veg and salad stayed cool throughout the party! I served individually sealed packets of hummus, guacamole, and salad dressing, which I placed directly on the ice next to the large trays. The kids loved the applesauce packets that I placed on ice around the fruit bowl - they could just pick them up and go! I kept the ice going - scooping water as it melted or simply pressing the rim of the inflatable bowl on a strategically placed table to allow the water to drain and adding more ice throughout the day. At the end of the party it was easy to take the food out of the trays and just dump the remaining ice water on the floor. fold for later use. They are made of thin, inflatable plastic. The advantage of this is that they are packed small. The downside is I'm not sure how long they'll last before they expire, but for the price, they were worth even a day-long party.

Pros
  • Extra large for multiple serving bowls and other foods.
Cons
  • Crumpled
