NOT SURE. CHEAP METAL. BROKEN TWICE. AMAZON PLEASE NOTE HERE.

My first one star review and I buy a few products through Revain each month. These footrests are NOT SAFE. You have disappointed me twice. The problem is they are made out of cheap metal (my mechanic called it cheap cast metal after looking at the inside after it broke). They're designed to grip the cylinder, but to keep them tight enough so they don't move while you ride, you'll need to tighten the last 18mm bolt a bit. I even tried using self-adhesive tape to have something to hold onto. However, they broke twice when tightening. That means the bolts are stronger than the pins themselves. First time they broke (green background images below) when I tightened them (and I've been working on bikes for decades), second time they broke when my mechanic tightened them ( and he has three times more experience with wrenches than you). See attached photos. If someone fails while driving on the road, there is a risk that your rear wheel will hit sharp metal parts, which could lead to an accident. I'm not the first to complain about this here. Spend the extra money and buy quality pegs. I lost $65 because Revane didn't understand the situation for the first time. I just hope this review protects other people. I was lucky that I lost some money here and didn't have an accident on the road.
