Best Charcoal Toothpaste Charcoal is good for your skin, so why NOT in toothpaste? I tried The Natural Dentist Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste and fell in love with it. My teeth seem whiter and I like the fact that the charcoal is made from coconut shells and the flavor is Cocomint. It's not messy like some others I've tried. Once used to seeing black on my toothbrush and in my mouth, I now use charcoal as part of my brushing routine. I brush one more time a day with fluoride toothpaste because I think I need fluoride as part of my oral hygiene routine. Be sure to try it!
