When I attached the basket to my bike it matched the aesthetic and looked great. It was easy to set up and I loved the idea of a detachable basket and a basket I could carry whenever I wanted. The lower part of the bracket was attached with Velcro. just right? Well loaded and off we went. I hit a bump not more than a block away and the basket blew off my bike! I tried 3 more times and the bottom of the mount didn't stay stable and the top just caught on the handlebars and came off too easily. I then got so frustrated that I went to the hardware store and bought black zip ties and ended up attaching them permanently to the bracket. This completely defeats the idea of a carry basket, but prevents the basket from flying away. Because of this, it still wobbles and is difficult to control. The bottom bracket is never well attached to the bike. This appears to be a design flaw and I wish I had just bought a basket permanently attached to my bike.
