Review on Superior 28 6202 Stainless Steel Exhaust by Jason Gay

Let me start by saying that they serve the purpose I bought them for, they really dress up the back of my Impala. However, the attachment proved to be problematic. My Impala has 2 1/4" pipes. I could not back off or open the clamps far enough to attach these pipes and still maintain proper thread engagement. it was very close. I considered removing the clamps and using three screws to bite down on the exhaust pipe to save the tip but found the included clamps gave a superior grip.Needing a little more room I removed the included lock washers under the screw heads to allow the clips to retract a bit and it worked.I put a drop of loctite on each screw to make sure it stayed in place and so far so good.I like the way they look.
