The most important thing for me is that it fits and correctly covers the original emblem, which it did on my 2015 Mazda 3. Before installing the new emblem, be sure to properly remove the chrome paint by simply sanding it down or scraping it gently with a small knife to reveal the plastic underneath the chrome. Then simply press the new emblem onto the plastic. For best results, use a blow dryer on heat to properly adhere or place the emblem when it's hot outside. The only negative I have is what others have said it's not true carbon fiber emblem. Just an emblem with color patterns reminiscent of carbon fiber. But I think it looks decent enough.
