Great headset that leaves something to be desired

In this review, I'll rate the headset based on a variety of criteria, including aesthetics, build quality, and finally, most importantly, sound quality (including "virtual" surround sound). For this I use the basic system of letter rating. Also keep in mind that I only use them for PS4 and not PCaesthetics :A (great) - I can't deny these headphones look beautiful. The overall feel on the head is excellent too. While wearing it, it never once felt bulky/chunky. The headset's cushions are also extremely comfortable and do a really great job of cushioning your ears without being too tight like many cheaper headsets. The headband is also very comfortable. I have no complaints here. Processing quality: B+ (very good). This headset not only looks good but is also well made for the price. First, the sound isolation is very good, but not overly isolating (you can still hear around the room, it's just muted). Second, the wire that connects to the PS4 is a very strong rope and I can't imagine it breaking easily. The plastic used for the body is great for the price and unlike some of its competitors (Turtle Beach) the sliders used to adjust the headset to your head are metal. I was really impressed by this as many of the sliders on various headphones in this price range are made out of plastic, which is pretty silly for a part that gets adjusted a lot. Oddly enough, I'm writing a review because of the cheap plastic slider. Prior to this review, the plastic slider on my Stealth 400 Turtle Beaches snapped into place so I decided to purchase these after seeing the great reviews. So far I've been very happy with the headset. I connected it to my PS4, changed the settings and started playing. That's where the 180 check takes. Sound quality: C- (below average) is the only issue I have with this headset. The surround sound quality isn't very good, well below average in my opinion. Additionally, even at the maximum PS4 setting, the volume is medium-low, and if you rely on these headphones to hear enemies trying to sneak up on you, stay away from these headphones. Virtual 7.1 has difficulty tracking enemies and turns off when people are nearby. People behind you sound like they are in front of you, people shooting to the left sound like they are in front of you, it's everywhere. However, the sound quality coming out of the headphones is fine for games that don't require as much fidelity like RPGs, MMOs, fighting games, maybe at a lower volume than you'd probably want. One of the reasons I didn't rate it lower was the three-stage bass boost. They work pretty well with each stage after the previous one, boosting the game's bass, but aside from the music they're not really used in games, but it's a nice feature. Also, the headset volume control just didn't work on my model. The quality of the party microphone is good, but there really isn't much to write about. I imagine this is a welcome upgrade over some of the terrible built-in mics on laptops. In general Class C-: The headset is beautiful. Build quality is almost as good, but unfortunately only audio quality is lacking, which is the only real thing I was looking for in this review. I know a lot of people use them for PC and it's possible to turn the volume up a lot via the settings. However, the problem of spatial perception remains relevant. I believe the SOMIC G909PRO has the potential to be a great headset, but it doesn't meet the main needs of the average gamer who plays a lot of FPS games. It pains me to say that the headset is a class C in every way. I would only recommend this headset for undemanding PC/PS4 gaming and maybe someone who wants to improve speech intelligibility in Skype chats. from the same questions. Virtual "surround" sound is extremely inaccurate in PvP FPS games and misleads you (sounds on the left actually sound on the right, etc., sounds from the ceiling sound below you). First I gave it a 3, now I'm giving it a 2. Sorry, the looks will get you to the point of people buying headphones not just to talk to their band, but to (properly) hear the sounds of the game , without disturbing anyone in the house. . If you can't get half of them right, you should only get half the points. I can't rate 2 and 1/2 so 2 is my final grade. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
