The scent is strong and persistent!

Although I bought this in May 2018 I'm only using it now as I've run out of my small bottle Meyers. The smell is so overpowering and it dominates my nostrils and what's worse it lingers for a long time. What distracts me is the fact that I can smell it for the next 12 hours after using it. The small bottle of Meyers I received (which I refilled) was not like that. I don't buy it anymore. (Actually, I don't use the remainder, which is still about two-thirds, to look for something that won't invade my nostrils and hold them hostage.)
