I bought this as I was dying to have my first camera but didn't know where to start and as a young person , who lived alone, I work for a dime, the budget is tight. Camera: I love it. I love, love, love, but it's very simple. I'd love to upgrade soon while it's not in the plans, maybe in the next two years if I figure out how to make the most of it, so I really get it. The Canon lens that comes with the kit is the perfect place to start. c, but soon you will need a wide-angle lens and a zoom. I just got a 75-300mm lens and it's a deal I love very much. But if you give a mouse a cookie, I'll need a $2,000 lens later. IF YOU buy such a kit, look around and buy a kit with this camera but with standard and zoom. You will need it. Included in the box. Buy everything separately for your individual taste. One of the reasons I bought this kit was because I was in a rush. If you're thinking "I'm leaving the country in 3 days and I need a camera, what should I do?". Buy a camera, a bag, a cleaning kit and off you go. I didn't use half of the items from the set as I like to take more spontaneous photos but I'm sure someone will find it useful. I dug up extra SD cards and a battery + charger. The investment is worth it. Also, one of the lens mounts was broken, and I didn't realize it until I ripped this backpack in the passenger seat on the way to Joshua Tree. I asked if I could replace an item and they said no and I just gave up because before long I was hooked to my camera and didn't want to collect and ship 87 little trinkets. return. As a backpacker, I would also recommend a completely different camera bag. This is nice and protects your camera, but it's bulky and doesn't fit in my backpack. It has many pluses and many minuses. I'm glad I got this and I'm grateful to have been able to learn these different tools and I feel so much more confident now that I really haven't changed ass to elbow when it comes to cameras but I do now If I did, with my budget and time I would invest more time and buy things slowly and on my own terms. And the best quality for a few things, but most are pretty good. But now I know my taste much better! TL:DRI had a great time with this, but if you want to learn photography, get different tools as needed. My biggest piece of advice: GET A CAMERA. . GOT IT. You owe it to yourself! It took me so long to make the purchase, I'm on a very tight budget and it was hard to justify spending money that isn't needed to survive, but you also need to feed your soul and the cameras really do.
