Review on 🌩️ Tupavco TP303 Ethernet Surge Protector Outdoor - Gigabit 1000Mbs LAN Network Thunder Lightning Surge Protection Suppressor/Arrester for PoE+ by Carl Durant

The unit I received is either defective or not working as described. I can't return the item because I didn't keep the original packaging (obviously my fault) but sometimes it doesn't even register a signal between two NIC targets (green LAN indicator at termination points) or if it does then it just indicates that 100 MB is not a gigabit (orange instead of green). I know the cable isn't the issue because I use it on both my server and HTPC and they both transmit over the same cables at gigabit speeds and show green instead of orange. When it worked (it doesn't now), it limited my bandwidth to well under a gigabit for the internal LAN to the xfers file. My situation can only be related to a faulty device, but I still wouldn't recommend this product. Edit: This seller just gave me a refund because they believed I may have received an unusually faulty item. I respect that and will now revise my assessment. Thank you for being an honest seller.
