At first I only used balloons. Buy small plastic hair ties at the dollar store and fishing line to tie the balloons together. There are many balloons so I used an air compressor to inflate them all. It made my life so much easier (plus the balloons have an odor that I didn't want in my mouth). Only two balloons burst/had holes. I could actually make two balloon arches with as many balloons as I had, so that was nice too. Took me about two hours to assemble everything. I think it was worth the money. .
