This watch lasted less than half a year. A dead battery is normal, I just had to replace it, no big deal. The problem was that it was not possible to open the back to change this battery. Apparently this model is the only Skagen model that is "cursed" and you need to take it to the Skagen factory or ask an experienced battery changer at the Skagen shop to open the battery door. I first took it to the nearest shop that changed the watch battery (not specialized in watches), it took about half an hour before the man told me that he needed special equipment to open it and that I should take it to the watch shop. He said if he tried any harder he would break or scratch the watch. Then I took it to TWO professional watch shops but the results were the same. Finally the last owner of the shop told me to take him to Skagen. I did where I was told that this watch is the ONLY MODEL that not even the Skagen themselves can open. You can try, but you can't guarantee they will break if you try, and you can't guarantee they will open at all. PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOU ONLY NEED THE WATCH FOR ONE BATTERY! But let me also say that I love Skagen. This model is bad. I think it's stupid that they couldn't figure it out before it was released but I used to have a Skagen and liked it so I bought the same brand. I will continue to support the Skagen (my new one is also a Skagen) but it was just a terrible watch design.
