I like these. I wish my ears were a little firmer, but after trying a few USBC pairs, the AKG brand lives up to its reputation. There's a bit of George Thorogood, and it's deep and crisp. They work great on my Macbook Pro and iPad. RAT but. macOS is indifferent to USBC audio and does not automatically mute USBC headphones like analog ones. So turn down the volume FIRST before turning it on. These are not assumptions. Sometimes macOS slows down on USBC audio devices. Restart the SOUND system settings if they don't appear.
