It is reasonably lightweight and fits in my backpack. I take this with me on my day hikes. After a long hike up, it is so comfortable to just hang it up between a couple of trees and take a nice break. It seems to handle two people well (young adults). It is also not crowded when two people are on it especially if they are lying down in opposite directions. It is holding well so far but only time will tell if it will be long-lasting. I will update the review if it is not. The adjustable straps are so helpful when you don't get the spacing and height exactly right and you can easily move the hooks up or down. I tell you; we live in an age of convenience like never before and this product seems to epitomize it.
