This is not the contact paper I remember from back then! I haven't had to use contact paper in 20 years but we bought a house with kitchen cabinets that we plan to eventually replace but in the meantime I wanted to cover the drawers and shelves after cleaning as I'm so germ-phobic. This product broke. ripped and ripped more. I used a brand new razor blade to cut myself, but it kept ripping anyway. Just run your finger across the shelf to make sure it's covered and tear the paper. I've been leveling our pantry and I have to keep pressing the contact paper against my lip to keep it from closing. God forbid the sticky part touches itself or you will throw it away. I've only had the newspaper for a week. This is a daily event. I ended up going through everything I needed, but a VERY frustrating process.
