Review on 📻 BaoFeng BF-F8+ Dual-Band Two-Way Radio Transceiver- Black, 136-174/400-520 MHz Range by Christopher Gulledge

I bought this radio after using Baofeng UV-5R for some time. This radio uses the same accessories as the UV-5R and the programming is identical. I can load the same image in both UV-5R and BF-F8+. The BF-F8+ is said to have a better RF interface, but I don't see a huge difference yet. Like the UV-5R, the BF-F8+ is a great radio for the money. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for a small glitch in the display. The BF-F8+ display has white characters on a black background. The display doesn't bother me, except that the backlight goes out after 5 seconds (by default) of inactivity. Basically, the screen goes completely black, so you can't tell if the radio is on or off just by looking at it. Fortunately, you can change this setting with the software. Mine is currently set to 10 seconds and I'm starting to get used to this behavior. All in all, this is a great little radio.
