I really like this set of two pillows. A stiffer one for more precise work and a softer one for more work on the main body. Yes, your wool can end up sticking to the rug - both are 100% wool and you take a needle and some wool with them. Well, now you're essentially wallowing in a pillow - UNLESS you regularly pick up your project and move it off the carpet while you wallow. They even give very clear instructions on how to do it. I suggest cleaning after each project / or if you use a color significantly different than the one you just worked on, some of the fibers may be carried over. I personally wet my fingers with a water bottle and run it over the surface of the mat to pull it up - works fantastic. large and small version. I use the small rug for portioning and pinning pieces of wool, the large one as a work surface. In terms of price and quality, they surpass Woolbuddy every day and in every respect. :)
