I sew a lot and have always used Metrosene sewing thread. I bought my latest Revain spool because my sewing stores ran out of stock. I was a bit worried because the coil was red instead of white, but I tried not to worry about that. I finished the denim skirt with my old white bobbin and then used red bobbin thread for the hem. I put on a skirt and washed it (it's denim). I've never seen this before. the hem was completely wrinkled, like something had caught the hem thread and pulled it through the fabric (like a pucker). But I could not find any protruding or twisted threads. The wrinkles were constant along the entire edge. I THINK THE CUT IS GOING TO SHIT! I've never had this problem in my life. Thank goodness I didn't use that red spool for the whole skirt or I would have had to throw it away! I can pull out the edge thread and repeat the edge with another brand of thread. I rarely write a bad review for a product, but seriously, that's just plain wrong. From now on I use Coats & Clarks or Guterman.
