Full disclosure, I've never worn a bow tie before and can't tell you how the $50 bow tie differs from this one. what, as they say. I love it! looked like a million bucks and got lots of compliments. It's adjustable, but only up to 18 inches. So be careful if you have a larger neck. will defiantly pick up other colors, so that should tell you all you need to know. oh and the matching pocket square completes the whole thing
