My recently purchased Dell XPS laptop only has a micro SD card slot for some stupid reason. Since both of my DLSRs use regular SD cards, I needed a small reader plugin that could do this. This one works pretty well and reads both SD and micro SD cards. The transmission speed is quite high. The card slots are spring-loaded, so inserting and ejecting a card requires gentle pressure to lock or remove the card (no need to pry it out with your fingernails). The design of the device is solid, with a short (5 inch) braided cable running between the case and the USB-A port. Small icons on the case indicate the orientation for inserting the card. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a USB-C port (yet), so I have to use a dongle from Dell. In general a good device, works perfectly.
