I was really hoping

I got this SD card to beat my old one from Lexsr but it turned out that the old one is faster than this one. I could not transfer files faster than 85 Mbs. I tried only photos, only videos, fast uhsII cards and the same result, I got a 1.2GB stick and immediately removed it with 79-85MB. So that

Sweet Deal!: Accessories for memory cards

I have to say it's a sweet deal. Checked in quickly and worked fine but they had a slight slowdown from reader to screen vs. SSD to screen. It is best to copy, cut and paste to disk first. Transfer speeds with the $3.0 slot were more like 86.9 MB/s and then 24.0 MB/s on the low side before breaking through to the high side again. a photo

Don't Recommend

Pros:+ Works. most of time. Cons: - At best, half as fast as my other card readers. - The speed will be greatly reduced if both cards are used at the same time. [My other dual readers take 50% hits on each card and both are used, but this one gets 50% hits on one card and then dives on the second card.] - Some Fat32 format cards that I got with 2MB / ps, although it's over 90 MB/s on other readers.

Good performer is good for computer accessories and peripherals

My recently purchased Dell XPS laptop only has a micro SD card slot for some stupid reason. Since both of my DLSRs use regular SD cards, I needed a small reader plugin that could do this. This one works pretty well and reads both SD and micro SD cards. The transmission speed is quite high. Bought two. One doesn't seem to work. I return.

Watch the video if you can see it. One of the two ordered does not seem to work. Other than that, it seems like a good material and construction, but I haven't tried anything else in quite some time. I just received it and immediately posted this review. I hope that the one I'm going to keep (if it doesn't start failing too) will work properly for a long time.
