I ended up purchasing this mouse not once, but twice in the year 2022. The first time I got it, I used it for five years, and then I replaced it with the same model. Everything else was exactly the same, with the exception of a new logo for the Logitech corporation. Everything was just perfect for me, and the quality was outstanding. Around the year 2022, the buttons started to become slightly stuck, so I made the decision to continue using the same one till the bucks matured. The conclusion that might be drawn is that one should not have any hope. The construction is of a revoltingly low quality; the low-grade plastic and rubber are instantly apparent to the user. The older model of this mouse from 2022 had soft rubberized pads, and it moved gently and smoothly on the mat. However, the new model of this mouse from 2022 has hard and rough pads, and it is awkward to move the mouse because it "scratches" on the mat. While using the same settings, both the sensitivity and speed of the mouse are decreased. I ended up getting married twice: 1. laser: the mouse cursor was jerking around all the time 2. I'm not going to go into great length about the issue with the video. In general, I was extremely let down, so I returned it and paid the money back. After that, the marriage was finalized. Instead, I opted for the Logitech G305 gaming, which is a solid model, and I am quite pleased with it. My recommendation is that you do not go with the M705; instead, check into other models or companies.
