It seems normal BUT!
The door hinge is difficult to install and you cannot try two pieces as it will not stick to itself. So if your door is losing air around the hinges, it won't work as well. In addition, if the gap is larger than the tape, then it is very difficult to figure out how to close it. If it's just about the window, it works fine.
