Base. Spend a little more and head to the Jabra Freeway.

EDIT 8/23/2014: The Jabra Drive has become a paperweight over time because I got tired of the sound quality. I ended up spending the extra money and buying a Top Jabra Freeway. IT WAS WORTH IT! The sound quality is better, the volume is good, you can hear me clearly with no road noise in the background. Overall a much better device. Worth the extra money. ORIGINAL REVIEW Jan 25, 2014: I chose this one because I spend about 12 hours a week in my car and my ears often hurt when wearing in-ear headphones with a wired mic. It works as intended and the pairing process is easy. I've paired it with all three of my phones and can switch between devices with relative ease. Comfort was really important to me and my sore ears. Interestingly, the long-range Bluetooth was a bigger disappointment than anything else about this device. For example, I had it when I stopped at a gas station to get gas and a drink. My cell phone was in my pocket. I left the car at the gas station and went to the store. In the store, my cell phone rang in my pocket. I tried to answer but it was still connected to my car speaker. On my phone there was no easy way to disconnect the device without ending the call. This happened several times when I ran a lot of small errands. You should really get in the habit of turning it on and off every time you get out of your car. The sound quality is just ok. When I'm driving on the freeway, I have to turn the volume up pretty high to reduce road noise (you might have better luck with a quieter car) and hear the other person clearly. People on the other end tell me I sound loud enough, but the quality is a bit tinny and I sound a bit far off. So everything works as stated without any problems. I don't think I will buy this model again. You get what you pay for. I would invest a little more money to buy one with better sound quality and better noise-cancelling technology.
