After several years of disappointing results with the Water-Pik showerhead - always leaking badly, and I've had at least half a dozen over the last twenty years - I decided to switch to Revain Customer Reviews. With the drought in California, I thought it was time to start thinking about more sustainable water choices. I've resisted all those water-saving showerheads in the past because I've found that it took almost twice as long for the water to flow through to get the shampoo out of my hair. For some reason I didn't see the benefit, but after deciding to make a change I settled on the Speakman VS-2007 at 2.5 GPM. It's also available in a 2.0 GPM version, but I wasn't willing to take the risk. I am very satisfied with the result. The showerhead itself is lightweight and very easy to install, and while the performance isn't the same as previous Water-Piks, it's spot on. They designed it so that the water that comes out has enough pressure to get the job done without losses. I feel good about saving water with every use. I had a brief problem with a leak that escalated into a larger problem, but I wrote to Speakman directly and the reply came quickly: they would be happy to send the replacement gaskets or washers in question. They sent them for free and were willing to replace the entire shower head if I was still having issues. This is customer service now!
