What a disappointment! We love our Rubio Monocoat floors, but have searched in vain for a way to remove the "work of art" that our little one drew with black permanent marker. Other DIY methods recommended online for traditional wood paneling have not worked. I found a video of Rubio Monocoat recommending this spray and their "magic sponge" for removing permanent markers. They don't seem to make a sponge anymore, and when I opened the spray I realized that this "surface conditioner spray" is just a tiny bottle of their regular soap and their signature plastic spray bottle for diluting the soap. Nevertheless, I tried using a microfiber cloth according to the instructions on the bottle - and no, it didn't work. Save $ and just buy a large bottle of soap for regular and spot cleaning. I guess we'll have to live with the marker for now...
