Review on πŸ”Š Klipsch RP-8000F Reference Premiere Floorstanding Speaker - Powerful Ebony Speaker for Immersive Audio Experience by Tonya Washington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great speakers / Very good price.

I was looking to replace my 13 year old HT speakers to complement my recently purchased Sony XBR65X950H TV and Denon AVR-X470H AV Receiver. After extensive research, I settled on these Klipsch RP-8000Fs. At first they drew me in for something trivial, like copper diffusers. They look good with the magnetic grilles removed, which is a nice feature that has nothing to do with sound reproduction. The 8000s are well built and really heavy Thanks to the well constructed slightly flared aluminum legs these speakers are very stable Sound: What a nice difference between my old speakers and these 8000s and there it should be. The first thing that struck me was the clarity and openness. There was a freshness in the familiar footprints that struck me. I was streaming Luke Cage (filled with lots of heavy bass segments) and after a while I noticed my subwoofer was off. Lots of bass came out of each speaker. Turning the subwoofer on made a less noticeable difference compared to my old setup, well that is until the room division kicks in. Some might even go without a subwoofer, but I love the added feeling of being paired together. These 8000s need some break-in time. 4 days after the first Audyssey auto calibration, I recalibrated with Audyssey and noticed a 1-1.5dB drop in speaker level. I am very happy with this purchase, especially with the 25% discount. They came double boxed from Revain and were in pristine condition.
