First impression was bad because the black cartridge didn't snap into the printer from the top. The remaining 3 cartridges snapped into place and the tops of those cartridges were correctly positioned. The black cartridge did not snap on top, so no connections were made to the board above and the printer generated an error message. I was able to put the top of the black cartridge back into place by closing the lid and then taped the lid and cartridge in place. Not exactly a winner. Now that I've done that, the printer prints, but I'm not sure if the fix is permanent or not. UPDATE: I was contacted by a SmartOmi seller and he offered to replace the faulty black cartridge. It arrived in a few days, I installed it and it works! Very satisfied with SmartOmi and the product. I changed the number of stars from 3 to 5.
