Ten months ago we bought a 1.6 liter Bulin Camping aluminum kettle hoping for faster cooking. We made it. In tests, this kettle boiled 0.750ml of water at 57°F in 4 minutes and 40 seconds, and the copper kettle boiled 0.750ml of water at 58°F in 6 minutes and 47 seconds. We have used our Bulin kettle about 75 times. So far, so good. It's lighter and thinner. It's not that pretty, but it doesn't need polishing.
