The Powermat is ideal for children or spouses who can't keep track of their chargers. The rug is big enough to stay in place but not so big that it's obtrusive. The DSI adapter works well, but maybe not as well as the adapters that replace cell phone battery covers, for example. There isn't much that can be done about that since it's the DSI design and not the Powermat system. In fact, this limitation only applies when the DSI is used with a hard protective case. The adapter fits well and works as described. Just place it on the mat, let the magnets align it, and forget about it until you want to use it again.
