For the price, I think the game is worth it - yes, mine arrived bent in three places as other reviewers have noted in their experience. However, for professional watercolor artists, always be mindful of the importance of value in effective/successful paintings. So I can live with bent cardboard as it doesn't affect the integrity of the 10 percent area I can measure in watercolor. Some disappointed reviewers suggested making my own, I did but it's not the same. It is also pointless to offer color pieces for the watercolor tone scale. If $5 curved cardboard annoys you, don't buy it. But if, like me, you're looking for a good guide to the scale of values, then this is for you. I know professional artists who can easily get what they want from this company.
