The patterns are very beautiful, but you can tell by a feeling.
You get what you pay for. I bought these for my son to have a collection of ties for occasional use. They tie well, the knot is fine but you may not get the dimples that you get with higher quality ties. A bit harsh, not sure what type of silk it is, but it should be a high poly blend. Simply that way. The patterns are very beautiful, but you can tell by a feel that they are cheap.
