I bought this lid for my 30 gallon aquarium which for some reason came without a lid although I had a slight suspicion that it might not fit. Luckily I didn't have to worry. This hat fits perfectly and I love it. The back half can be cut to fit your heaters and filters, while the rest is made of durable glass. You have to glue the handle yourself, which I found interesting and easy to do, and I liked the ability to adjust the position of the handle. The glass has a hinge that makes it easy to open and close. It looks a lot better than the black plastic domes that come with most aquariums and is nice to see through the top of the tank. I would like to eventually replace the black plastic holder on another tank with this one.
