They stretched so much I had to throw them out after a use or two.

I wouldn't recommend them. They expanded to 4 times their original size. Also, I had to put it on top of the ponytail at least 6 times to keep the ponytail in place. waste of time and money. And yes, they were overpriced. When I went to return them they actually expected me to return them. Because the packaging has been opened, you cannot resell it. They could save me the trouble of sending them back by giving me a refund without having to send them back. Not a good experience.
