Review on πŸ” FOXWELL NT630 Plus OBD2 ABS SRS Code Reader Diagnostic Scanner - Automotive OBD II Airbag and Brake Bleed Scan Tool by Rob Sanchez

Works with limitations

A block arrived missing a key component - a mini SDS card to USB adapter. The software must be updated first. The instructions are confusing and written out of order. Suggest a simple chart/list - I've added it at the end of the note. It reads my fuel codes correctly and indicates I'm running too rich - ok, I did an ab bleed when I replaced the master cylinder and all brake components. This worked fine but follow the instructions on the unit and do a full bleed on all 4 wheels before attempting an auto bleed. I actually did the automatic upgrade twice. Make sure the front left brake bleed is open and you have a vacuum in the line or bottle. Here the ABS air from the automatic ventilation is used first. If you think everything is fine, perform the auto bleed again with the front left bleed valve open. I got some more air out. Saved a trip to the dealer and $300. Overall I am happy with the device but could have had a much better guide and the website leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sure some of them are due to my lack of knowledge.1. Go to their website and search/download their software and activate it2. Follow the registration process3. Remove the mini SDS from the device and upload it to a USB adapter and then to a PC (Mac doesn't work and neither does a new Chromebook)4. Open the downloaded program and find the update section.5. Choose the make of the car, not the model, and click Update. This will download the software onto a micro SDS card.6. Make sure you have a high-speed connection, otherwise it won't work7. When finished, remove the microcard and reinsert it into Unit.8. Run the device in your car and search your car to get its VIN and other information.
