I'm trying to 1. make our house a little smarter lol and 2. add some color to the house. Aside from the smart plugs I have, these lights are a nice addition to the lights that don't have smart plugs. Downloading the app was as easy as creating an account. The problem I had was that the screenshot of the installation process didn't match the app. The mine led me to a huge selection to choose from. I know I got the light (yay) but then I got a little confused about where to go after that. Also, it found my router, but it took a few tries to get the lightbulb WiFi signal to my phone. After going through this process, it was easy to complete the rest of the setup and then connect to my smart hub. The color options are good and I love that you can set the time or sunset. Indoors I'll probably keep them in the more traditional yellow/clear color unless it's holiday related, but I'm hoping to switch the bulbs to my outside fences after those bulbs are gone, that way I'll use more color to make them the house more festive to complement the wired lights of different colors that are lit for each holiday. I also love the fact that I can use Alexa to turn them on and off outside of a set schedule. If you can get past the setup (which was very helpful, although my manual didn't fit my screen) these are great bulbs and it may have been my wifi as well as it can be spotty at times so I don't want bulbs for that make responsible. some of the configuration issues encountered.
