Review on Pelican 1300 Camera Case With Foam (Orange) by Ashley Rogers

I recently received a new calibration kit at work, dropped it twice the first day I wore it in the field and decided I had a solution need. At first I was intimidated by the expense of flat mounting the gauges when a friend suggested putting them in a more square case. Enter 1300! I easily slipped a couple of gauges and a couple of digital instruments into this case. Pros: • Cost (much lower than comparable storage such as Pelican laptop cases) • The notch system was two stage which allowed me to get creative and use some tools diagonally. With care you can also trim by hand, or if you do a lot of work you can just pull out a piece to ensure you cut all the way through with scissors • Sturdy and professional looking • Bright orange body is easy for me to recognize later if i put it down somewhere, get distracted and leave. Cons: • Doesn't wash dishes! For real. For the price I can't find a fault in this case.
